Welcome to the third (out of four) blog instalment of Farhan & Sidra’s wedding. This day was when F&S had their actual wedding ceremony, made their vows and then threw a beautiful party.
After spending the morning with Sidra at her hotel while she got ready, we hopped into her limo together and headed for the Hazelton Hotel for photos. Sidra pre-arranged with the hotel for us to wander the halls (escorted of course hee hee) for their first look and portraits. They also spent their wedding night there and I found out later that as a guest you get a pillow menu on your bed… that’s right. A PILLOW. MENU. Complete with descriptions of all the different pillows that they offer with various thicknesses and materials and heights and weights and smells and colours. I gotta get me a night at the Hazelton…
It reminded me of a hotel I stayed at once in Korea. The room had a bath menu where you ordered a bath from a list and they sent a bath specialist (or bathologist as I liked to call them) to your room to “execute” the bath. Each bath on the menu came with specific music, smells, floating petals in the water, bubbles… even snacks! Pretty awesome.
But back to the bride & groom: Stay tuned at the end of the post to read how Farhan proposed to Sidra, written in Sidra’s own words! It’s reeeeaaaaally romantic I promise :)
Also, here is a list of other notable vendors that were involved:
Wedding planning: Arora Weddings & Events
Decor: Dream Party Decor, Talk of the Table, Vintage China Hire
Cake and Macaroon tower: Bobbette & Belle
